LICENCES AND CERTIFICATIONS

Fabricators supplying steel to the City of Los Angeles are required to be approved by the LA Department of Building and Safety.  Because of earthquakes, fabricators must maintain a very high standard of care in quality control to obtain an LA fabricators license.  The L.A. standard is so well known that many large western cities provide an automatic exemption from their own local certification programs with proof of LA Certification.

In addition to the strict requirements of becoming a Los Angeles City approved fabricator, we are also an approved fabricator with the strict requirements of the AISC quality control certification program. The AISC program provides for a uniform process of quality control and inspection for fabricators all across the United States.

AISC certification requires specific procedures, equipment and quality control training to ensure the integrity of a quality control program. To ensure compliance, they have an annual audit by an independent third party inspection agency to confirm that their quality control standards are being met.

This license allows us to fabricate and ship structural steel into Clark County, Nevada.  Combined with our AISC certification, we can fabricate steel for any job in Las Vegas, NV.
